If I’m totally honest, there are certain aspects of my faith that are still in the sway for me. The first time I realised this was true, was when I became seriously challenged concerning my clinging to the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Since that time, I suppose I could be best described as someone probably leaning towards a post or mid trib belief, but still hopeful of a pre trib rapture. I hope that doesn’t sound too vague, but I seriously have problems with people who are convinced they have this whole matter sewn up neatly.
Since taking a more berean stance upon how I view matters of faith, I have become more linked with those of a post or mid trib belief system, but I would be a liar if I did not find the following video a source of much hope for me. Don’t get me wrong, I know all the angles on this, and the scriptures used to back up personal opinions, but I still find it a subject that is very much in the balance. In this video, John MacArthur probably makes the most convincing of arguments in favour of the Body of Christ being raptured before the period of Great Tribulation spoken in the Bible, and I for one am grateful of his stance, even if not yet fully convinced to stand in his corner!

Nope. I still can’t get away from the fact that I feel the whole pre-trib rapture theory a little to vague to accept as the truth. I love John MacArthur to bits, but that doesn’t mean everything he says is true does it?
Whenever anyone claims to know the truth regarding this matter, the words of Jesus always seem to ring in my ears; “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Mark 13:31-32
Think I’ll just forget about it, live each day as it comes, and give my all to ensure that I complete my race, whenever the finish line pops up!
