Proverbs
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Proverbs 3:5

The Word
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Quote (7) – A.W. Tozer

We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer

This also applies to any of us who walk as children of the most High God. We can never compromise with the world, about and for God and what He expects from us, and as Tozer rightfully says, we are not diplomats and our message is not a compromise.

Bless you
