Proverbs Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.
The Word For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
“One plague of our age is the widespread dislike to sound doctrine. In the place of it, the idol of the day is a kind of jelly-fish Christianity–a Christianity without bone, or muscle, or sinew– without any distinct teaching about the atonement or the work of the Spirit, or justification, or the way of peace with God–a vague, foggy, misty Christianity, of which the only watchwords seem to be, “You must be liberal and kind. You must condemn no man’s doctrinal views. You must think everybody is right, and nobody is wrong.”

I agree. The evanjellyfish movement reminds me of Genesis when the question, “Hast God really said…” appeared. I believe the not-so-modern postmodernism is a challenge to God of defiant men who say they will do what they want to do regardless of God’s sovereignty.
Contentment "Christian contentment is that sweet, inward, quiet, gracious frame of spirit, which freely submits to and delights in God's wise and fatherly disposal in every condition."
Psalms Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
It just goes to show that the post modern church is not quite as modern as some may think it is!
