The Word For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
The following audio is the full audio message from Pastor Matt Chandler spoken at the Desiring God conference. The audio itself has been taken from the excellent Fighting for the Faith podcast hosted by Chris Rosebrough, which itself is well worth visiting, and the latest programmes are available directly through the “podcast feeds” section over to the right of this page.
I recommend anyone to listen carefully to this message, for it is a deeply moving and honest account of what it actually means to truly preach the Gospel message in all its fullness.

Thanks Andy for the redirection to this – I had wanted to listen to it and simply got caught up in other things and forgot about it.
This was so inspiring and uplifting to listen to.
I was so touched by this brother’s honesty regarding where he falls short or has fallen short – particularly where he lay prostrate before the Lord because the Holy spirit had shown him what he had become and how he had affected his congregation who were reflecting who he was to them, because of his satirical, cynical joking tongue. I love the transparency of his ministry. I love his fearlessness of telling it like it is, with no holds barred.
I really pray that the men who sat under his ministry at this conference went away, not challenged, but changed and also with many others who hear this too.
May the Lord of the harvest, send out more like this brother.
Thanks and bless you John for sharing this with us all –
Faith "A true faith in Jesus Christ will not suffer us to be idle. No, it is an active, lively, restless principle; it fills the heart, so that it cannot be easy till it is doing something for Jesus Christ."
Psalms The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Well worth a listen. To sum it up in one sentence – Preach The Gospel.
