The Word In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
This video was passed onto me by a dear brother by the name of Nigel Williams, and I have to say this is about the most bizarre video I’ve ever seen in many ways. I won’t go into detail, all I will say is that if you watch it, make sure you watch it through to the end!
Well I guessed what was coming (tags gave it away ).
As you say bizarre in many ways.
A Christian organisation using an Atheist for evangelism or was it to make Christians feel guilty about their lack of evangelism.
Either way as I think about it, it seems that there are some fundamental flaws in what has been presented here. Need to consider it more to clarify them.
God bless,
Andy
P.S. I always wondered what Harry Potter moved onto. Those square glasses frames didn’t fool me
The thing I found bizarre was the same thing I found when watching Benny Hinn preaching the Gospel accurately recently. How can people have such a good handle on the truth, understand it well, along with the consequences of that truth, and yet reject it, or fly in the face of it?
That was one of my observations, I can only conclude that it maybe bears out the truth of John 6:65 or maybe Romans 1:18-21. It certainly proves that knowledge in itself is not an indication of saving faith.
What catches us by surprise in this video I think is just hearing someone talking about Christianity in what appears to be an open and thoughtful way in what appears to be a public setting.
I think it pays to watch it a few times and really listen to what he says because although on first hearing it sounds good, in reality there is very little depth to what he is saying.
I found it quite ironic that he was talking about giving people a fighting chance when he as an Atheist sat there in total rebellion against God and the truth he was espousing. How does that encourage people to evangelise?
Life “Everything that a man leans upon but God—will be
a dart which will certainly pierce his heart through
and through. He who leans only upon Christ—lives
the highest, choicest, safest and sweetest life.”
