alētheuō – (pronounced as: al-ayth-yoo-o)
1. to speak or tell the truth
- to teach the truth
- to profess the truth
226 /alētheuō (literally, “to truth”) includes Spirit-led confrontation where it is vital to tell the truth so others can live in God’s reality rather than personal illusion.
Because there has been an immense transformation in all of us since starting Faith Defenders a couple of years ago, we’ve decided on a name change to more accurately reflect what it is our desire to acheive as a Christian website. Also we have decided that a change in name would also avoid any confusion with another ministry by the same name too.
Although we still have a strong desire to earnestly contend for the faith handed down by the saints, we think it more effective to stand against wrong teaching within the church by boldly proclaiming the truth, more so than simply pointing a finger at what is wrong within Christianity today. Hence the new name we have chosen!
We have taken much care to avoid any inconvenience to our regular visitors, both through our main website and also those who follow through Facebook. However if you are experiencing any technical problems at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will attend to the matter immediately.
Anyway, we hope you continue to enjoy your visits to our site, and that you will continue to be encouraged and strengthened in the Lord as a result. All that we ask is that if you have a website that links to http://faith-defenders.com please could you adjust the link to http://atheleuo.org.uk instead. Also if you have been following us on Facebook, please “like” our new page instead, which you can do from the widget in the right hand side menu.
Many thanks for your continued support, and God bless you.
John Dunning.
