Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Proverbs 3:5

The Word
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Abandoned by God?

This is a stark message spoken by John MacArthur. Although addressed to the nation of America, it could just as easily be addressed to the U.K. too, and probably most other nations of the world.

  • Hi John
    I have now watched this for the third time. It is so cathartic for me because I have been feeling this for a long, long time now. It is like he has seen into my inner-most thoughts.

    I have watched the changes and the speed with which these changes have been and still are, taking place, not just the USA, but world-wide too in the last few years. It is chilling for me to hear his words, because the hatred I have in my heart for the way that perverse sinful acts that used to be performed in private, are now performed almost openly and publicly and we are expected now to shut up and just accept it. Well, I for one cannot and will not. God in both His love and Judgement, is not taken seriously by unbelievers and sadly not even very often by believers too. Not many takes God’s side in things. Not many are willing to even hear what He is saying, never mind listening and obeying Him in these things.

    My heart feels broken as I write, as rejection of the One True Saviour is such a slap in the face of God. After what He did for us, after what He took on Himself willingly, to the degree that God had to turn His face away because of our sin, our rebellion, our independence, Jesus became sin for us. And man can still say “I have no need of you, be gone!” and follow the lies of Satan to fill their own lusts of the flesh. What a travesty.

    What utter devastation and desolation is coming.

    Only God can know the depths of the cries of our hearts.

    Bless you
