  • Hi Steph,

    Thanks for posting this.

I know that I have heard this sermon before but it is so refreshing to be reminded of it again. Paul Washer manages to deliver all four elements of 2 Timothy 3:16 in one go, doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. May God raise up more preachers such as him.

    God bless,

    Andy

    Hi Andy
This is one of “Paul Washer’s” sermon Jams that I have never forgotten. I always feel like I have been enveloped and pulled under His wings and brought to a place of rest. When things are going on around me that are difficult to deal with, I just remember that Those in Christ are beloved of God and that we are going through the Refiners fire as the Lord pleases and ultimately for His Glory alone, and for our growth in faith and necessary for us to be taken one step further into a deeper relationship with the Him. It is where we learn to die to the right to ourselves and allow God to bring about the nature of His beloved Son in us.

I too pray for more men like him and Spurgeon, and Tozer and Chambers etc. to be raised up – they are needed now more than ever.
Bless you too dear brother :-)
